POSITION SUMMARY

A Part-Time Program Coordinator works with and supports the Program Manager in a fast-paced branch of Random Acts of Flowers. The successful candidate will be energetic, creative, highly detail-oriented and able to positively adapt to and manage change.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Program Manager and volunteers as needed, including but not limited to:

  •  Supervise individual and group volunteer shifts
  • Complete floral and vase pickups and deliveries
  •  Assist to manage and update RAF’s operations’ schedule, delivery calendar and volunteer database
  •  Answer and respond to RAF phone calls, emails, and visitors
  •  Assist to manage social media outlets
  • Submit financial expenses and deposits and acknowledge donors
  •  Perform data entry, manage paper and digital file system, and donor and mission data software with integrity and attention to security, privacy and meticulous accuracy
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with national office

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of Associates Degree/BA preferred with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own and be able to use personal vehicle
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
  • Experience with and/or willingness to drive a larger vehicle
  • Volunteer supervision, event coordination and research experience preferred
  • Non-profit and/or floral industry experience preferred
  •  Must be able to work some evening and weekend hours as needed

SCHEDULE

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am-12:30pm
  • Tuesdays, 9am-2pm
  • (15-20 hours/week)
